We think joining Linlithgow Speakers is the best way to learn public speaking skills. Of course, we are bias! That is why we let you try before you buy.
You can come along to 3 meetings for free without any commitment or obligation. Make the most of your visits – ask questions and try to take part.
What can you expect? See this page for how a typical meeting runs.
What else can you expect? We have a lovely gentleman called Bruce to welcome you into our club. Be aware, he does like hugs and you have to agree, he does resemble a teddy bear. Hugging him is like Toastmasters – there is no obligation and you go at your own pace!
Bruce will introduce you to a member of the club who will look after you throughout the meeting.

Just a quick word .....
We do ask you to sign the Visitor Book and give us your email – this is just to let you know about the next few meetings. We don’t spam or share your details. We have a secure system used throughout clubs in the UK and Ireland. It has an unsubscribe button and we periodically remove old visitors.
We sometimes take photographs or video footage at Linlithgow Speakers. These are used on the website and in social media. If you do not want to be included, please let us now and avoid being in the frame.
All Toastmasters Clubs let you go at your own pace. We encourage you to participate but appreciate it if you don’t want to. Please say “pass” if you are asked to speak and would rather not. No-one will think any the less of you, we were all “first timers” once!
